From the moment I stepped inside, I was drawn to its character. Although the spaces were worn and affected by humidity, they still preserved beautiful original features—floors, openings, and moldings—that carried the essence of the place and were carefully restored as part of the project.
The kitchen was expanded into the former service room, with the intention of creating a more generous layout that could function as a dining area or evolve into a larger kitchen in the future. Aesthetically, the goal was to modernize the interiors while preserving their original charm, incorporating lime-based finishes and subtle references to the building’s architectural heritage.
Contemporary yet respectful of their origins, rich in history and potential. We prioritized essential interventions to ensure comfort in the present, while allowing room for future evolution.
